Antarctica and Latin Americamay not strike everyone as the first choice of destination for a holiday cruise, but for the adventure traveller our cruises and trips offer an exhilarating way to explore the expansive polar regions on an expedition cruise. Our polar voyages are run by two very experienced specialist companies, Oceanwide Expeditions and Quark Expeditions, based aboard ice-breakers; Professor Molchanov, Professor Multanovskiy, Kapitan Khlebnikov, Grigoriy Mikheev and MV Orlova. Each vessel has been converted to a modern and comfortable research/passenger ship from which you can witness some of the most stunning scenery that the Antarctic has to offer. On all of our expedition cruises there is plenty of opportunity for whale watching, wildlife watching, attending lectures aboard the vessel, and for the more pioneering traveller some of our polar voyages also offer the choice of scuba diving, helicopter excursions and/or zodiac excursions. These truly are adventure holidays for the discerning voyager! With so much on offer in our brochure, choosing just one of the Antarctic or Latin America adventure itineraries might be the most difficult part of the whole experience!
